    Communication for business

  • Websites and web copywriting
So many websites fail to position the company clearly or to give potential customers a reason for making contact.  I'll help you to identify the right messages for your site, then prepare new content designed to put them across quickly and clearly and get you more hits. > read more

  • Freelance copywriting for print
If you need a copywriter in Gloucestershire or anywhere else, I can provide sharp, effective text for your leaflets, brochures, mailers, advertisements, editorial features - anything that uses words to communicate. > read more

  • Marketing communications advice
How to clarify your market positioning and the key messages that will help you to attract attention and separate your products from the competition's. > read more

  • Media relations
My media relations skills can help you to get coverage in the right media - local, national, trade or specialist - which will provide valuable exposure for your products or services.  > read more

What will it cost?
Though an ongoing agreement will ultimately give you the best   value, I'm happy to charge on an ad hoc basis in the early stages so that we can explore the possibilities together before making a big commitment.  My fees are much lower than those of most agencies (though I have a big-agency background), if a little higher than those who don't have my experience in writing, PR and journalism.

Making a start

At no obligation, I'll visit you to talk about your business and marketing communications needs, whether web copywriting, media relations or sales literature.  I'll set out in writing what needs to be done, how I propose to do it and what it's likely to cost.  Once you're happy, we start work.
A little copywriting might take a few hours; a substantial ongoing programme might need a few days per month.
